Chinese Haval SUV will open its Russian plant of a full cycle production in 2018.

      The automobile plant project in the Tula region is the largest in Russia. The plant will include stamping shop, welding, painting, assembly, and production of spare parts. 2,500 work places will be created. By the time of plant’s launch the company plans to prepare dealer network for selling the cars of Haval brand.

      Great Wall Motors Company started the construction of car plant in the industrial park “Uzlovaya” in the Tula region in 2014. The company plans to produce four models of the coupe of Haval brand, including H2, H6 Coupe, H8 and H9.

      In the summer of 2015 another Chinese manufacturer, Lifan Industry Group, started the construction of a plant in the Lipetsk region. Localization of production will allow Chinese companies to participate in the state program of concessional lending.
