Ralph Fiennes Arrived in Ufa to Direct Film about Ballet Star Rudolf Nureyev

The British actor and film director Ralph Fiennes plans to make a biopic about the famous Russian dancer Rudolf Nureyev.

The film script is based on the book Rudolf Nureyev: Life written by the British journalist and former ballerina Judee Cavan.

The shooting is expected to start in the autumn of this year. So far Ralph Fiennes is choosing places for shooting. He has visited the Opera and Ballet Theater and the Choreography College of Ufa, where the ballet star started his career.

Ralph Fiennes has admitted that his new project is not going to be a full-fledged biopic - he plans to feature only a few key episodes of Rudolf Nureyev's life
