The Central Bank has prepared draft guidance determining the list of employees of the regulator who are forbidden to issue loans for personal needs in banks. The document is available on the website of the Bank of Russia.

      The restrictions affect mid-level employees - for example, heads of departments, their deputies, heads of directorates, heads of territorial divisions of the Central Bank, and so on. Previously the Chairman of the Central Bank, the Deputy Chairmen, the Chief Auditor and Accountant were forbidden to borrow from banks.
