The White Square award ceremony will be held in the evening of April 18.
The awards will be handed for works of 2014 and 2015. Levan Kapanadze with the film Trial, Mikhail Krichman with The Leviathan, Sergey Machilsky with Chagall-Malevich, Vladislav Opelyants with The Sunstroke and Alexander Simonov with The White Nights of Postman Alexey Tryapitsyn are competing for White Square 2014.
The nominees for White Square 2015 are Igor Grinyakin with The Territory, Pavel Kapinos with Dukhless, Gennady Karyuk with The End of a Fine Era, Yury Korol with Fight for Sevastopol and Yury Raysky with Orleans.
The cameramen Pyotr Dukhovskoy and Sergey Trofimov, the actress Alyona Babenko, the film expert Nikolay Borodachev, the film director Kirill Serebrennikov and the artist Sergey Fevralev estimated the nominees' works. The jury was headed by the cameraman Oleg Lukichev.
While the names of the winners are still kept secret, the owner of the honorary award For Contribution into Videography Art is already known. That is Lomer Akhvlediani, who shot the films Desire Tree, Bless the Woman, and others.
