Angara-A5 will Put Recon Satellites to Orbit

The carrier rocket Angara-A5 will put several satellite reconnaissance vehicles to orbit by the end of this year.

      They will be launched from the Plesetsk Spaceport.

      In particular, as TASS reports with reference to its sources in space-rocket industry the satellites will carry out monitoring of the outer space and warn about any possible missile attack.

      Russian authorities have charged to launch the recon satellites as a last resort in December, 2016, the source reports. It may be a group of two or three satellites with the latest reconnaissance equipment.
