Elena Obraztsova's Paraphernalia Sold at Auction for Charity

A charity auction sale of the world famous opera singer's belongings raised over 1,3 million rubles.

      

      Paraphernalia of the Russian prima donna Elena Obraztsova was sold to pursue a great mission: the funds obtained at the auction were allocated for support of fledgeling talents and fight against leukemia, the crushing disease that had granted no quarter to the great singer and taken her life away last year.

      

      The objects put up for auction are of high memorial, artistic and historical value. The total reserve price of the art works made 14,5 million rubles. However, not all of them were sold.
