Belgian animation studio IMPS and American Viacom become the partners of the development group "Regions" for amusement park "Dream Island" that is being built in the south of Moscow. The publication reports that the company "Regions Entertainment" (part of the group "Regions") has signed an agreement with the Belgian animation studio IMPS, which owns the brand name "The Smurfs", of the establishment of the village of the same name dwarfs in a newly built indoor theme park "Dream Island" in Nagatinskiy Zaton in the south of Moscow.
Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) became another provider IP (Intellectual Property Provider) of "Dream Island", which provides the right to build the playing area in the park using the images of Ninja Turtles. Moscow authorities have allocated about 90 hectares for this project, and the developer must take 70% of the territory for the landscaped park and build the embankment of the Moskva River, Interfax Tourism reports.
