Russia and Switzerland are going to simplify visa regimes

It is possible that Russia and Switzerland will simplify reciprocal visa regime, reported on Thursday the Russian ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein Dmitry Cherkashin. There is a chance the appropriate agreements will be ready by the visit of the Head of Federal Department of Foreign Affairs Mishlin Kalmi-Ray to Moscow at the end of November 2004, RIA ”Novosti” reports.
      
       Simplifying of visa regime between the countries will concern certain categories of citizens, such as businessmen, students, professors and workers of culture.
      
       “The procedure of visa issuing will be simplified and, for example, for businessmen – Russian and Swiss – multiple visas will be valid for the period of 3 years”, - informed the ambassador.
