For Fair Peace and Peoples' Friendship: All-World Youth and Students Festival in Russia

The 19th All-World Youth and Students Festival will take place  in Russia in 2017.

It will happen exactly 60 years after the historical Moscow festival of 1957. This time Sochi will most likely become the meeting place for youth from around the world.

The festival plays a significant role both for the particular countries, and the entire world. Historically speaking, it is going to be the third generation of such festivals in Russia. Each of them – in 1957, 1985, and now in 2017 – solved and will solve certain issues.

Today the festival organizers aim at making the festival a holiday for the youth, for progressive youth organizations that are not indifferent to the future of their countries and the whole world and already take steps towards positive changes in the countries and on the international scene.

"We are expecting to recieve foreign participants who head the youth organizations in various countries today. In 10−15 years lots of them will take decisions for their countries and at the international level. Today, having made friends and found a common language, common interests, having learned about each other at the festival, they will find it easier to create together positive world agenda for the benefit of the countries and peaceful international relations in the future" , - the chairman of National Council of Youth and Children's Associations of Russia, Grigory Petushkov reported.
