Russian enter for Earth Remote Sensing to Appear in 2023

ROSCOSMOS is going to complete creation of the national center for Earth remote by the end of 2023, the corporation's representative Valery Zaichko has reported.

"Developmental engineering works on creating the national ERS center are among our significant victories because a number of departments were against creation of the center. We have solved this problem together with the government and are going to create the national center for the Earth remote sensing in the Russian Federation by the end of 2023", - he said at the conference "Topical Issues of Creating Space Systems of Earth Remote Sensing" held in Moscow.

Earlier it was reported that it would take 2,437 billion rubles to found a national ERS center. The center will be engaged in receiving and processing information  from the satellites Meteor, Canopus, Resource, Arctic, and Review. It will be provided with nine telecommunication ports.
