Moscow scientists have engineered a unique hybrid power station, which transforms both wind and solar energies.

      This innovative device can provide energy for population and equipment in any regions of Russia.

      The unique power generating system has been framed by experts of the National Research Technological University "MISIS". The hybrid powerplant includes an upstanding axial-flow turbine with solar cells established on its internal blades. They bring in energy that speeds up the turbine rotation or is stored in accumulators.

      The hybrid powerplant invented by Moscow scientists can produce about 4 megawatt hour. This indicator is 20 percent higher than in its foreign analogs.
