The exhibition in Lavrushensky Lane is dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the Tretyakov Gallery.
Exhibits are displayed in the open air in the form of an art labyrinth arranged in front of the the historical gallery building.
Such an unusual concept and shape makes the exhibition twice more interesting and intriguing. Visitors will see more than two thousand historical pictures and about one thousand original texts. The main part of the exposition is dedicated to Pavel Tretyakov, the creation of his famous collection and, of course, to the artists whose works are kept in the gallery.
According to the exhibition curator Anna Esparasa, the location of the exposition was not mere coincidence. Lavrushinsky Lane is situated in the Zamoskvorechye Region, which is associated with lives of many outstanding people. Muscovites and tourists will see where Leo Tolstoy lived and where Alexander Pushkin walked.
