Boris Grebenshchikov Performed for Free in Nizhny Novgorod

Rock music legend, frontman of the Aquarium band Boris Grebenshchikov gave a free open-air gig in Nizhny Novgorod.


      The rock musician came to Nizhny Novgorod for a concert in the Milo Concert Hall. On Sunday, June 26, about noon the legendary rock band  surprised passersby with a free performance in front of a cafe in the Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street. The singer with his band sang hits for hundreds of Nizhny Novgorod dwellers.


      The spontaneous concert lasted for more than half an hour.


      After the  performance Boris Grebenshchikov was willingly photographed with admirers and gave autographs.


      The musicians visited one of the local cafes and went for a soundcheck in the concert hall. The official concert kicked off at 7 pm.
