The Jewish Museum in Moscow will open the exhibition Time Effect: Influence of Russian Avan-Garde on Modern Fashion.
The exhibition is going to become a large-scale research of heritage of the Russian avant-garde art and its influence on collections of the main western fashion houses.
Visitors will see more than 100 exhibits including dresses from Celine, Chloe, Christopher Kane, Diana von Furstenberg, as well as paintings, graphic art and porcelain.
The exhibition curator Maria Nasimova resorts to art history through works by the famous modern fashion designers, who make a great use of Russian avant-gardists' finds, their color palettes and compositions, decorations and ornaments.
The exhibitin runs from June 30 till September 4, 2016.
