One of the greatest Soviet and Russian animated film directors Garri Bardin will introduce his new work in Lendoc Film Studio on July 15.
After the screening its author is going to answer questions of the viewers.
The short animated film Listening to Beethoven created one and a half years ago participated at the Cannes Film Festival 2016 in the Biweekly of Directors program. The animation celebrates true freedom. Ludwig van Beethoven's Ode to Pleasure and the Seventh Symphony performed by the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia under conductorship of Vladimir Spivakov add to the uniqueness of the animation.
Garri Bardin uses his own unique style and avoids computer graphics and 3D effects.
The screening will take place in Lendoc, one of Russia's oldest film studios. It is located in downtown St. Petersburg, next to the famous Mariinsky Theater, at the address 12, Kryukov Canal Embankment.
