Audience will listen to Giuseppe Verdi's works, namely Requiem and the opera Simon Bokkanegra, as well as a concert of Italian music.

Performances are organized in the framework of the Open Festival of Arts "The Cherry Wood" with assistance of the Moscow Main Department Store (GUM).

The two theaters are nearly age-mates, with the history of about 250 years.

Moscow dwellers and tourists can buy tickets to La Scala performances in GUM, where the first ticket office of the Bolshoi Theatre has opened from now on.
