Alena Akhmadullina takes inspiration from the12th century Mongolian and Tibetan epic tale of King Gesar. Asian tribal culture is incorporated through the layering of multiple fabrics for many looks, A-shaped tunics and dresses and dilude shades of grey and beige reffering to the mountain and steppe landscape.
The brand was created in 2001 by designer Alena Akhmadullina, a graduate of St. Petersburg Academy of Technology and Design. In the 10 years of its existence, the Alena Akhmadullina brand has become a unique phenomenon in the history of Russian design and a revolution in the fashion world.
Since 2005 the Alena Akhmadullina brand is a permanent member of the Paris fashion Week pret-a-porter. In 2007, an office was opened in Moscow. In the fall of 2008 premiere of the First Concept Store Alena Akhmadullina in the historical center of Moscow Nikolskaya street. In 2010 opened a second boutique of the brand in the Gallery "Pret-a-Porte" in the shopping center "European".
