Russian-Georgian Comedy Wins at VOICES Festival

The featue film Tally and Tolly has won hearts of viewers at the international film festival Voices.

Alexander Amirov's feature film Tally and Tolly got the greatest number of the audience’s voices at the modern film festival VOICES held in Vologda from July 7 to July 9.

The Russian-Georgian comedy competed with movies from Iceland, France, the Czech Republic, Armenia and Germany. In total the festival program included about 30 films from around the world.

The audience gave scores to six competitor films right after screening. The VOICES festival has no professional jury, which is one of its peculiarities.

The prize to winners was handed in by the viewer Sergey Sochnev, who won this chance in a small lottery carried out by the Russian actresses Ulyana Vaskovich and Maria Shelayeva.
