Moscow Planetarium Welcomes to Night in Planetarium

Moscow Planetarium presents a new exclusive evening program Night in Planetarium. Satellites and Rings of Planets.

Visitors will have an opportunity to carry out astronomical observations of the Moon, the Jupiter with its satellites, and the Saturn, as well as take an excursion walk around the Sky Park, attend a popular scientific lecture about giant planets and watch a fulldome show named Traveling across the Sun System. The event will take place on July 15, 2016 from 9:15 am to 11:35.

The middle of July is the best time for observing the Moon and the Jupiter with its satellites Callisto, Io, Ganymede and Europe, as well as the gas giant of Saturn with its ice rings. Closer to August the planets hide behind the horizon and become inaccessible for observers on the Earth.
