According to the chief specialist on viral diseases of the RF Health Ministry Irina Shestakova, a medicine able to cure nearly 100 percent of hepatitis patients will be available soon.

      

      At a recent medical meeting in St. Petersburg on the hepatitis problem the biotechnological company BIOCAD reported about its breakthrough development, which will cut down the cost of hepatitis treatment by 57 percent and make it affordable for 70 percent of the Russians, who do not receive preferential services for fighting the disease.

      

      The drug will be on sale in just a few days. According to preliminary estimation before the International Day of Fighting Hepatitis, in the past half a year the number of patients infected with it has decreased by 11,5 percent as compared to the same period of 2015.
