The International AquaJazz Festival founded by the Russian saxophonist Igor Butman has opened in Sochi today, August 4.
Traditionally AquaJazz opens with a parade of the festival participants. The procession started from the Sochi Seaport and came to an end at the Live Site Square. The AquaJazz Festival will grant the audience with grand concerts for four days.
World jazz stars Vadim Eilenkrig, Richard Bona and Somi will perform at the stage of the Winter Theater in Sochi on August 5 and 6. Igor Butman's brother, drummer Oleg Butman will celebrate his anniversary here.
August 7 will see the final gala concert in the Festival concert hall with participation of the Moscow Jazz Orchestra and Igor Butman.
Meet the artist sessions, master classes and jam sessions with outstanding jazzmen will take place at the festival.
