Mystery of Yakut Mesozoic Mummy Solved

Fossilized remains of an unknown middle size creature were earlier found in a Russian diamond mine in Yakutia.

It did not turn to be a young dinosaur, as experts assumed before. A group of scientists gave an outright denial to the theory that the mummy is a young tyrannosaur.

Experts managed to establish what species the ancient mammal belonged to. According to Siberian scientists, it is a sable.

It is yet to be established for how many years the sable mummy remained underground. It is specially noted that diamond-yielding sands in which the mummy was found bear main typical characteristics of the Mesozoic Era, which started 66 million years ago.
