Gambling Zone Will Appear In Sochi

The Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree on the establishment of a gambling zone in Sochi. The document was published on the official web portal of legal information.

As it is noted in the text of the order, the zone will be called “Krasnaya Polyana”. Its area will make up 165,000 square meters. It is located “within the boundaries of the land plots allocated for Olympic facilities of federal significance”. However, their financing and construction should not be conducted at the expense of budgetary appropriations or funds of the State Corporation on Construction of Olympic Venues and Development of Sochi as a Mountain Resort.
