Improvement of the Bakhrushin Theatre Museum area will be completed by the Moscow City Day of the next year.
It will result in development of a new theatrical square in Moscow. It was announced by the head of the RF Culture Ministry Vladimir Medinsky.
It is reported that the museum's western and southern facades have regained their original outlook designed by architects Alexey Bakhrushin and Karl Gippius at the end of the 19th century.
"By next year there will be a full-fledged theatrical quarter under the auspices of the Bakhrushin Museum", - Mr. Medinsky declared. According to him, very small amounts were spent on reconstruction.
The Bakhrushin Theatre Museum was founded in 1894. Presently it is the first large-scale restoration of its building since then.
