Ukrainian Transit Restrictions With Russia Will Be Discussed In WTO

Kiev has sent a request for consultations on the Ukrainian transit restrictions with Russia to the World Trade Organization (WTO). This was reported by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia on Wednesday.

The consultations that will last for 60 days are not a mandatory pre-trial stage of the dispute resolution. If the parties do not find a mutually acceptable solution within this period, the initiator of the consultation has the right to consult an arbitral institution, as the message goes.
