Scientists from the Tomsk State University have developed protection for the Hubble spaceship and the Spectre-UV observatory. They will be protected from various space debris and small meteorites.

      The Spectre-UV space telescope created with assistance of the International Astronomers Association is a joint project of the Russian and Spanish scientists. The orbital telescope with ultra-violet radiation will be used for the analysis of the Universe.

      The new project will be put into operation once its predecessor the Habble spacecraft has finished its mission. The project is planned to be launched in 2021. By that time the device will be very well protected.
