The new president of Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid has declared its readiness to communicate with residents in Russian language. This was reported on Monday, October 3 by RIA Novosti.
She remembered her experience in the Iru power station, which was dominated by Russian-speaking staff. "My colleagues from the Iru power plant will confirm that in a narrower range, I can communicate in Russian," - said the head of state.
Earlier, on October 3 deputies of the Estonian Parliament (Riigikogu) chose Kaljulaid for the post of president of the country. The presidential election was attended by 98 deputies out of 101.
