Private Collection of Classical Russian Paintings Exhibited in Belarus

Over 100 Russian paintings of the 19th-20th centuries are provided by the Russian collector Alexander Volodchinsky.

      The exhibition Russian Painting of the 19-20th Centuries will take place in the National Art Museum of Belarus from October 5, 2016 till February 6, 2017.

      The collection represents genre paintings of the second half of the 19th century, Russian landscapes, works by the Itinerants and Russian impressionists.

      The visitors will see masterpieces by Vasily Perov, Ivan Aivazovsky, Ilya Repin, Isaak Levitan, Victor Vasnetsov, Konstantin and Vladimir Makovskies, Alexandre Benois, Mstislav Dobuzhinsky, Nathan Altman, and others.
