The unique travelling festival Jazz Province is bringing world jazz stars to ten cities of the Central Russia.
Famous guitarists Scott Henderson and Alexey Kuznetsov, saxophonists Erick Alexander and Haakon Cornstad, vocalist Santiago Ferreira and the blind pianist Oleg Akkuratov will show up. Lots of ensembles are international, since musicians from nine countries come together in the 21st autumn jazz marathon. The festival founder, pianist Leonid Vintskevich from the Russian city of Kursk, will surprise public with a new project with old friends from folklore chorus Rostan and cellist Boris Andrianov.
Jazz Province will sound in Voronezh from November 1 to November 5. In addition to paid concerts, there are free admission events in the program as well. All of them are taking place in the book club Petrovsky.
Afterwards the festival will tour to other Russian cities till November 12.
