Russian Foreign Ministry has decided to stop the experiment that allowed issuing short-term three-day visas for foreigners to enter the territory of the Kaliningrad region.

      The department noted that the issue of simplification of visa entry for foreign citizens to the Kaliningrad region will be settled by the Federal law "On special economic zone in the Kaliningrad region."

      Draft amendments to the document are being developed by Ministry of Economic Development of Russia on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation.
