In November Moscow dwellers and tourists will see the biggest Supermoon and the most famous star rain of the year.

Aññording to astronomers's calculations, such a phenomenon can be observed on the Earth once in 144 days approximately. At this special time the contours of Moon's relief can be seen with a naked eye, whereas the field-glass will enable you to discern lunar seas and craters as well.

The peak of the most well-known star rain - Leonida - will take place soon after the Supermoon, on the night of November 17 to 18.

"The Leonida meteor shower named after the Leo constellation, where it's radiant is settled, will last from November 9 to November 22 .
