New Method of Cancer Diagnostics with Minimum Intervention Developed

Krasnoyarsk scientists have created a biosensor, a one-chained DNA connected to a gold chip, which can spot oncomarkers in blood.

In the future this invention may help to develop test system for  diagnosis of lung cancer.

The efficiency of the biosensor has been proved with testing of both sick and healthy people. However it is yet to undergo a range of examinations and receive all the certificates required.

Detailed information about the research is published in the Scientific Reports magazine.
