IKEA Plans to Invest 23 Billion Rubles In the Leningrad Region

IKEA plans to invest 23 billion rubles in the construction of the third shopping center "Mega" in the Lomonosov district of the Leningrad region. 

      According to general director of "IKEA Centres Rus Management" Milen Mitkov Genchev, another 11 billion rubles will be invested in the existing infrastructure. The shopping center will be ready in 2021, the IKEA store will be opened in 2019.

      Earlier, on November 23 it was reported that within five years IKEA planned to invest $ 1.6 billion in opening new stores. This autumn, the Swedish retailer has launched a furniture factory for $ 60 million in Novgorod, as well as acquired land for the third shopping center "Mega" near St. Petersburg.
