China State Energy Engineering Company Will Construct a Wind Farm In Karelia

Karelian authorities agreed to build a wind farm with the Chinese company China State Energy Engineering (Sinopec) that will perform as the main investor of the project. This was reported on the website of the regional government. The project cost will amount to about nine billion rubles.

      Agreement on cooperation in the field of power system development involving the construction of the station has been already signed.
