X5 Retail Group Will Accept MIR Cards

Sberbank has allowed for cards of MIR national payment system to be accepted in all POS terminals of X5 Retail Group stores: "Pyaterochka", "Perekrestok" and "Karusel" – 8,500 stores located in 56 regions of Russia.

      Sberbank continues to ensure a wider acceptance of MIR cards in its POS network. Currently, more than 600,000 POS terminals in trade and service enterprises throughout the country accept the cards of the national payment system (NPS). Today, X5 Retail Group is a recognized leader by revenue in the Russian food retail market. Currently, all its stores accept MIR cards. The card is designed for all Russians, many of whom are customers of "Pyaterochka", "Perekrestok", and "Karusel".

      X5 became one of the first retailers, in all the stores of which cards of MIR national payment system are accepted. It includes more than 8,500 stores, which serve approximately 2.5 bln customers per year.
