Ski Season In Elbrus Has Opened

The season of skiing on the slopes of Mount Elbrus in Kabardino-Balkaria was opened unprecedentedly early this year, the press-service of JSC "Resorts of the North Caucasus" (KSK) reports.

      "On November 19 ski slope at the site of the station "Mir" to the station "Gara-Bashi" was ready; all three phases of gondola lift ways are functional," – as it is said in the statement. It is also noted that during the last ski season a duration record for skiing was set on Elbrus. The track at the third stage of the ropeway was closed only at the end of June. About 190 thousand tourists from all over the country and abroad visited the resort last season.
