The People's Artist of Russia Albina Matveyeva, aged 78, has passed away after a long disease.

      A member of the National Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Russia "Golden Eagle", Albina B. Matveyeva died on December 5, 2016.

      The actress played more than 30 roles in the Theater in Malaya Bronnaya and starred in over 20 films, including The Stargazer, The Only Man, Eternal Call, and others.

      "We have lost a terrific actress, a beautiful woman, a kind and touching person", - the Union of Cinematographers reports.
