Raymonda Ballet is Back on Historical Stage of Bolshoi Theatre

One of the best classical ballets - Raymonda set to music by Alexander Glazunov - is in the repertoir of the Bolshoi Theatre again.

The ballet has been brought back on stage by the choreographer Yuri Grigorovich. The three-act performance from the era of chivalry campaigns will be a present to both the audience and the choreographer, who is going to celebrate his 90th anniversary on January 2. For revival of Raymonda he employed new stars and creative young people to perform the leading parts.

December 15 will see the premiere of the revived ballet. The show stars Olga Smirnova,  Simon Chudin and Denis Savin. All tickets are sold out.
