The Totem show by the famous Canadian circus will premiere at the Ice Palace of Sports on July 1, 2017.

      Sochi is the only Russian city to have managed to join the show's tour  on its way from Japan to Europe.

      The circus show was staged by Canadian Robert Lepage, who is known to the Russian audience as a stage director, first and foremost, but he has also worked in the author's cinema and opera. Totem is his second stage production for Cirque du Soleil show after KA, which can be seen  in Las Vegas only. The action takes place on an island, which resembles a turtle. The story of the mankind origin as a species unfolds there.
