This year the Russian Association of Theatre Critics has conferred the honorable title on the director of the Satyricon Theater, Konstantin Raikin.

      The decision has been unanimous, since the famous actor and director has excelled in upholding the freedom of creativity and lashing back at critics of contemporary art.

      This conclusion was prompted by Konstantin Raikin's speech at the Congress of the Theater Union. His main opponent was Yevgeny Mironov. : critic Inna Solovyova, conductor Theodore Currentzis and director Vsevolod Lisowski were also in this list.

      "The Prince" staged at the Lencom Theater has been acclaimed the Performance of the Year. It is off the repertoire already, however.

      The Association of Theatre Critics is an independent association of the best theater critics of Russia. Established in 2015, it includes more than a hundred Russian critics.
