Roscosmos to Provide Developing Countries with Satellite Imagery by 2020

Offers for the most attractive markets are to be submitted to Roscosmos by the end of February 2017.

      The state corporation Roscosmos has announced a tender for a 12.5 million ruble contract. According to the document, a roadmap and offers for promoting Russian remote sensing control services for developing countries in 2020-2022 are to be  elaborated by  June 30, 2017.

      Among the potentially attractive partners the countries of Latin America, Asia and Africa are mentioned: Costa Rica, Ecuador, Bolivia, Colombia, Cuba, Iran, Bahrain, Nepal, Pakistan, India, Sudan, Egypt, Algeria, and Cote d'Ivoire .
