Satellite of Unified Space System is Tested in Russia

Russian specialists have started testing the satellite of the Unified Space System (EKS). The spacecraft has been launched into the Earth orbit. Thanks to the work of the EKS Satellite the military will be warned about a possible missile attack.

According to the Defense Ministry representatives, the device will provide the basis for the space echelon of the missile warning system and ensure early rapid detection of a possible enemy. Currently the satellite is involved in flight tests. It should be noted that last year the spacecraft spotted four dozen launches of domestic and foreign ballistic missiles.
