The decision to change the engine was made upon investigation of the Progress MS-04 accident that happened on 1 December.

      The 3rd Stage of the launcher Soyuz-U,  which is planned to put Progress MS-05 into the orbit will get a different engine before the launch.

      In February, Soyuz-U is expected to deliver to orbit the cargo ship Progress MS-05 with supplies for the International Space Station.

      It is a reminder that Progress MS-04 launched from Baikonur was lost at the altitude of about 190 km on December 1.
