Baikal-Lena Reserve entered the list of top 15 reserves of Russia considered to be the most beautiful. This rating was made for the Day of reserves and national parks of Russia.

      The list includes the following reserves: Altai, located in the mountains of Southern Siberia, Olekminsk (Yakutia); Yugansky - a specially protected area in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District; Kuznetsky Alatau (Kemerovo region), Koryak in the north of Kamchatka; the Caucasus, which is the biggest and the oldest specially protected natural territory in the North Caucasus; Lapland (Murmansk region); Southern Urals, located in Bashkortostan, and partly in the Chelyabinsk region; Khakassia (South Siberia in Khakassia); Katun, located in the highlands of the central Altai; Teberdinsky (Karachay-Cherkessia ) and Daurskiy (South-East Transbaikalia).
