The sci-fi action movie  has been released in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D formats.

      The Gravity directed by Fyodor Bondarchuk went on general release in Russia on January 26 and became a box office hit with nearly 270 million rubles within the first three days.

      As analysts predict, the debut weekend revenues should exceed 400 million rubles.

      "This means that the starting result of The Gravity will be the fifth or the sixth in the whole history of Russian films. At the moment, the Top 5 high grossing films are Wii (602.7 million rubles), Stalingrad (524.3 million rubles), The Crew (501 million rubles), Three Heroes: Knight's Move (427.5 million rubles) and The Best Film (403.9 million rubles),"- experts report.

      Critics refer to the new work by Fyodor Bondarchuk as "the first great Russian film about an alien invasion."
