More than 100 events will be held in Russia in honor of the 125th anniversary of the famous poet Marina Tsvetaeva. This was reported by the head of the Federal Agency and chairman of the celebration steering committee, Mikhail Seslavinskiy.

      Exhibitions, poetry recitals and conferences will be organized. Mr. Seslavinskiy reminded that Russia has 8 museums of Marina Tsvetaeva. They will actively participate in the festivities, just like many other museums and libraries. The project of giving thematic lessons at schools closer to the poet's anniversary is underway.

      Marina Tsvetaeva Square may possibly appear in Moscow. As for the cultural center Marina Tsvetaeva House Museum in Borisoglebovsky Alley, it will be opened in late spring 2017.

      Nearly 3 million envelopes with stamps dedicated to Marina Tsvetaeva will be issued soon.
