"Yugyd va" and Pechora-Ilych State Nature Biosphere Reserve Gain Popularity

In 2016 National Park "Yugyd va" and Pechora-Ilych State Nature Biosphere Reserve were visited by more than 7 thousand tourists, as it was told to Interfax in the press service of the Regional Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Archives.

      Last year National Park "Yugyd va" and Pechora-Ilych Nature Reserve kept its leading position in the region. Peak visits to these tourist facilities were in July-August 2016.  "Yugyd va" was visited by 6383 tourists what is 3% more than in 2015. The residents of Komi made up 63% of the total number of the guests.

      The share of tourists from the regions of Russia amounted to 22.7%, from Moscow and St. Petersburg – 12.8% and the tourists from abroad – 1,5%.
