Kuban capital Krasnodar is being significantly reconstructed. The centre of Russian seaside resort region will soon become a modern Mediterranean-like city with 5-stars hotels, large shopping, entertainment and business centres, many-storied first-rate apartment blocks and up-to-date highways and traffic interchanges. The central objective of reconstruction is to change radically the appearance of city and make comfortable southern capital. 200 blocks are supposed to be renovated. Brand new objects of infrastructure are also in the plan.
      
      According to Krasnodar major Vladimir Evlanov the construction of 120 different units in the city-center is already in progress. Among them is a Hilton hotel being built where in previous years the "Rossia" cinema has been located. The construction of Radisson and Marriott Grand Hotel is going to start soon.
