The State Literary Museum will present the exhibition "The Twelve. Russian Writers as the Mirror of Revolution of 1917".
The exposition will be housed at the Ostroukhov House in Trubniki, a branch of State Literary Museum, rom March 16th. March 23 will see the opening of a similar exhibition in Berlin. As previously reported, the exhibition in Berlin will run till May 3, and then go to Austria.
The exhibition will include objects from the collection of the State Literary Museum and tell about the 12 Russian writers, who most vividly reflected events of the revolutionary era in their works.
The history of the Russian Revolution will be presented through the prism of literature and the destinies of Vladimir Mayakovsky, Alexander Blok, Alexei Remizov, Ivan Bunin, Zinaida Gippius, Maxim Gorky, Alexei Tolstoy, Marina Tsvetaeva, Maximilian Voloshin, Valery Bryusov, Demian Bedny and Anatoly Lunacharsky.
The exhibition in Moscow will be held till the 11th of May.
