The Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center is holding Philippe Halsman's exhibition in the framework of the Biennale "Fashion and Style in Photography 2017".
The central place in it belongs to the famous series The Jump, which the master started working on at the dawn of the 1950s.
The photographer believed that when jumping a person can not fully control the expression of one's face, and thus is revealing hidden character traits and interesting streaks.
Grace Kelly, Richard Nixon, Sophia Loren, Marc Chagall, Salvador Dali, Mohammed Ali and other celebrities became the heroes of the Jump photo cycle.
In total, the exposition includes 50 photographs of politicians, artists, artists and musicians.
The event runs from February 22 to May 21. The entrance is free.
The Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center is located at the address: Bld. 1a, 11, Obraztsova Street, next to Dostoevskaya, Maryina Roshcha, and Mendeleevskaya metro stations, Moscow
